Netherlands Soil Partnership (NSP)

The Netherlands Soil Partnership (NSP) was initiated by a group of Dutch consultants, suppliers of technology and contractors companies which have expertise in the field of soil remediation technologies and management. In order to offer a full scale and integrated solution for all soil and groundwater problems, specialized companies are working closely together with Dutch institutions for soil remediation and universities. They are also supported by the Dutch ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment (IenM), and the Ministry of Economic Affairs (EZ). NSP was officially established on the 9th of July 2008 in Den Haag, the Netherlands.

Treating soil pollution is expensive. "Can we afford to do that?" is a question frequently posed. Considering the risks soil contamination could pose to the surrounding environment and human health, we at NSP always answer the question by asking: "Can we afford not to?" That is why NSP combines the expertise from different organizations to offer you an economic, efficient and effective solution for soil remediation.

Dutch companies and institutions joined together in order to transfer, disseminate and apply their knowledge and experiences, thus promoting sustainable soil use. At this moment, NSP is active in China and Canada. It is also interested to enter other markets such as Romania. NSP is financially supported by its participants and the Dutch government through the 2g@there program administered by the EVD office for the Dutch ministry of Economic Affairs.

NSP constitutes a collective network, introducing Dutch state-of-art technologies and sustainable integrated solutions to its partner countries. It offers participants a platform to

  • Exchange information about the international soil market
  • Create opportunities to access the international soil market
  • Organize workshops or seminars to promote Dutch solution
  • Organize incoming missions and outgoing missions
  • Obtain reports about the development of international markets
